You may have noticed that attached to each Artillerie bag is a unique name. In this video, Artillerie's founder describes some of the people behind those names--women who inspired various designs in the Artillerie line.
No matter what lingerie bag you choose from among Artillerie's collection, you'll find it equipped with our signature "Secret Compartment" hidden inside. Whether it's a string of pearls, a passport or a bottle of a favorite scent, the secret compartment is just the place to conceal the most precious items. Each zipped secret compartment is concealed in the lining of the bag, making it barely visible.
At Artillerie, you won’t find your average eye mask. You won’t find, for example, elastic bands that squeeze your head and pull your hair. You also won’t find masks that crush your eyelashes, because Artillerie’s luxury eye masks are equipped with carefully placed cushioning that gives your lashes space. As designer Barbara Hawatmeh explains in this quick video demo, "It feels like a pillow's on your face." Most importantly, you won’t have any light escaping inside to disturb your beauty sleep.
Did you know that, when you purchase the Shadi Original designer hand bag or the Medium Black Quilted Babette Envelope, roughly $5 of the cost is yours to donate where you see fit?
This is possible because of our partnership with the Geneva, Switzerland-based organization Act in Kind. Artillerie recently teamed up with Act in Kind so that we can distribute funds from Artillerie purchases to various non-profit projects in places around the world.
The vision behind Artillerie is pretty simple, really: I wanted a designer hand bag that would keep my most personal belongings safe, clean and precious, that was pretty and well-designed. But I couldn’t find such a bag, online or off.
This need struck me especially when traveling through airports. I often saw women’s accessories being handled by security personnel and/or visible to passersby, which I find to be not only embarrassing and unsanitary but generally unseemly for a lady. I wanted to find a way to match elegance with practicality.
